Job Summary
The successful candidates will deliver high-quality instruction in Early Childhood Education, contribute to research and scholarly activities, mentor students, and participate actively in the academic and professional life of the University.
The role requires educators who understand the importance of the early years and can inspire future early childhood professionals through engaging, evidence-based, and child-centred teaching approaches.
Educational and Experience Requirements
Candidates must
Possess a PhD, MPhil, or MSc in Early Childhood Education, Education, Child Development, or a closely related discipline relevant to the position.
Have at least two (2) years of teaching and/or research experience in the relevant area of specialization.
Have at least two (2) publications in their area of specialization.
Demonstrate current knowledge of theories, research, policies, and emerging practices in Early Childhood Education.
Demonstrate strong teaching, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate the ability to create a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Show a commitment to student development, academic excellence, research, and continuous professional development.
