The Role
The Quality Engineer will support the implementation and monitoring of quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. The role will ensure that project activities, materials, workmanship, and documentation meet approved specifications, quality requirements, and applicable standards.
The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, supervisors, contractors, and project management to identify quality issues early, implement corrective actions, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Educational and Experience Requirements
The successful candidate should
Hold an HND, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Construction, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
Have one to three years of relevant experience in quality assurance, quality control, engineering, construction, telecommunications, infrastructure, or a related project environment.
Demonstrate an understanding of quality assurance and quality control principles.
Have the ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
Demonstrate strong inspection, documentation, and reporting skills.
Have good knowledge of project quality procedures and standards.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Possess good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Communicate effectively with engineers, contractors, supervisors, and other project stakeholders.
Demonstrate proficiency in standard Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn project-specific systems quickly.
